Risk Disclosure

Last updated: October 8, 2026

Trading futures involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone.

1. Education only, no advice. We don’t provide investment, financial, legal or tax advice. We don’t give advice tailored to your finances, positions or accounts. We don’t provide trade signals or recommendations to buy or sell any contract. Examples, levels, charts and trade reviews are for illustration and education only. They are not a recommendation that you take any trade.

2. Regulatory status. We are not registered with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in any capacity and are not members of the National Futures Association (NFA). We are not a broker, futures commission merchant, introducing broker or investment adviser.

3. Futures trading risk.

  • Trading futures and options on futures involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors.
  • Futures are highly leveraged. A small price move can produce large losses, and you can lose more than your initial margin.
  • Markets can gap, move limit up or limit down, or become illiquid, making it hard or impossible to exit at your intended price. Stop orders may not be filled at your stop price.
  • Technology failures, platform outages, data errors and internet interruptions can cause losses.
  • Think carefully about whether trading suits your experience, objectives and financial resources. Consult a licensed professional if you need advice.

4. Prop-firm (evaluation and funded account) risk.

  • Prop-firm evaluations are sold by third parties. Evaluation, reset and activation fees are generally non-refundable.
  • Many traders don’t pass prop evaluations, and evaluation fees can be lost entirely. Many who pass never receive a payout.
  • “Funded” accounts are often simulated. Payouts are made at the firm’s discretion under its rules. Rules, costs and payout terms vary by firm and change often.
  • Firms can close accounts, deny payouts, change rules or go out of business. We don’t control any prop firm and aren’t responsible for its decisions.
  • We may receive affiliate compensation from some firms (see Disclosures).

5. Past performance and hypothetical results. Past performance, actual or hypothetical, does not indicate future results. CK Trader Pro does not show simulated or back-tested results. If any simulated, hypothetical or back-tested result is ever shown, this notice will appear right next to it:

CFTC Rule 4.41: These results are based on simulated or hypothetical performance results that have certain inherent limitations. Unlike the results shown in an actual performance record, these results do not represent actual trading. Also, because these trades have not actually been executed, these results may have under-or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated or hypothetical trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to these being shown.

PROP-FIRM “FUNDED” AND EVALUATION ACCOUNTS ARE GENERALLY SIMULATED ACCOUNTS. RESULTS IN THOSE ACCOUNTS ARE NOT REAL-MONEY RESULTS AND DON’T REFLECT THE COSTS, SLIPPAGE OR PRESSURE OF LIVE TRADING.

6. Simulated and practice trading. Simulated or paper trading, including on third-party platforms, doesn’t reflect real market conditions, fills or fees, and success in simulation doesn’t mean you’ll succeed with real money.

7. Live sessions. Trades shown or discussed in sessions may be in simulated or prop-firm accounts, may use sizes that aren’t right for you, and are chosen for teaching. Don’t mirror or follow trades in real time.

8. Testimonials. We don’t currently publish testimonials. Any member statement we publish in the future will describe an individual experience, won’t be typical, and will disclose any compensation or connection.

9. Your responsibility. Only trade with risk capital, meaning money you can afford to lose without affecting your lifestyle or obligations. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and their results.
